Meet The Team

Lateasha
Owner & Senior Artist
Art has always been a part of who I am. From a young age, I loved drawing, doodling, and creating anything crafty I could get my hands on. Creativity runs in my blood — my French grandfather spent his life hand-painting car murals, shop windows, and signage, and his artistry deeply inspired me.
Even though I always felt the call of art, I never truly believed it could become a successful career. It wasn’t until I was 28 that I found the courage to begin my tattoo apprenticeship, and since then, everything has changed. My art has grown and evolved in ways I never imagined, as I continue to push myself in new styles, techniques, and even other mediums like painting.
Tattooing became more than just an artistic path for me — it became deeply spiritual. My very first tattoo was a memorial for my son who passed away, and it showed me how powerful tattoos can be as vessels for healing and transformation. Over the years, I’ve had the honor of holding space for clients through tattoos that carry profound meaning. Sometimes we laugh, sometimes we cry, but always we create something beautiful together.
I specialize in ornamental and blackwork tattooing, often weaving in goddess imagery, witchcraft symbolism, and mythology. For me, tattooing is the perfect fusion of being both an artist and a healer — a chance to transform not only skin, but spirit.
Kayden
Tattoo Artist
Kayden is a 22-year-old tattoo artist from Red Deer, Alberta who has been immersed in art for as long as she can remember. After getting her first tattoo at 18, she instantly knew this was the path she was meant to follow. She began her tattoo journey in March 2025 and has been building her skills ever since—yes, she’s even practiced on herself (a rite of passage for every tattoo artist 😅).
What sets Kayden apart is her passion not only for creating beautiful art but for the process of crafting something deeply meaningful and permanent for her clients to carry with them forever. She loves the moment her clients see their finished tattoo, whether it’s a smile of happiness or relief—it’s always a powerful, rewarding exchange.
At Ethereal Inkd, our all-women shop in Sylvan Lake, we weave spirituality and healing energy into every tattoo session. Kayden will be continuing her apprenticeship here, growing her artistry while collaborating with us on future projects we’re so excited about.
Please join us in giving her the warmest welcome—she truly embodies the passion and purpose behind what we do, and we can’t wait to see the magic she creates alongside us. 🖤

Carrie Anne
Apprentice
I’ve always been drawn to creativity, often covering my arms in doodles as a kid. My mom once told me I’d make a great tattoo artist, but I never believed it until other artists began complimenting my work. Watching my first tattoo session and bringing along my sketchbook sparked something in me — the encouragement I received gave me the confidence to see tattooing as a real path.
My art is inspired by fantasy, cottage-core, sci-fi, and horror. I love adventure, curiosity, and finding beauty in the dark, and I bring those themes into my work. Drawing has always been my therapy and a way to tell my story. Now, I’m excited to create tattoos that not only express my own perspective but also help others tell theirs.
